I have a feeling that we might actually make a good account of ourselves in the Euros this time. In recent years we have gone into international tournaments with in ill deserved sense of superiority and expectation. This time around the pressure's off. New last-minute manager appointed, arguably our best payer suspended for the first two games and the fiercest competition in a while as well as a tough, tough group. This time we'll have our backs to the wall and that is when we seem to pull together and play well. Thoughts?

All around Europe, it's been the season of the underdogs - Montpellier winning Ligue 1, Dortmund fighting off Bayern quite convincingly for the German title, Chelsea winning the CL. Nicosia getting to the group stages of the CL, Basle knocking out United etc etc.

So, I do think there'll be a major underdog surprise at the Euros but I don't think it'll be us unfortunately. I just don't think we have the personality as a team to even act as underdogs. Too many of our players are over-confident and single-minded.

If there's an underdog story then it'll come from Poland or Russia, in my opinion.

As others have said I think Poland will be the underdog in the Euros. However we might have the chance to go far if we play like a team for once; instead of 11 individuals.

I have the same feeling. 4-2-3-1 with Parker and Barry as the two and Young and Walcott on the wings. Should be a hard nut to crack, and Young and Walcott could hit fast on the counter.

The only problems are the CM and striker. I'm completely sick if Rooney, and of course he can't play the first two games, but lately I've been thinking about him as CM with Defoe as striker.

Tough?France have got a pretty average team to be honest.Ribery and Benzema are their star player, the latter I think will do nothing much.Sweden are an average team that it's fair to say that our record against them isn't very good, but never the less we can draw our games against France and Sweden and beat Ukraine who have the worst team in the euro's so that would leave us on 5 points.I could actually see us,Sweden and France being level on 5 points <laugh>.

I'd like to see England and Ukraine go thorough as I've got Ukrainian mate.

I think we will make it to QF's and hopefully we will play Spain as I think we could beat them as they won't have Puyol and Villa in the team and they look very weak without these players, especially Puyol in the heart of the defense.
