interesting table i found in www.financialfairplay.co.uk - regarding this season clubs who are under preforming & over preforming given their budgets over preforming clubs are : UTD, Spurs, Everton, WBA, Norwich and Swansea under preforming clubs are: City, chelsea, Arsenal, liverpool, Aston villa and QPR (not a surprise then why those managers are already under huge pressure by their fans) please log in to view this image
Interesting, thanks Shwan. The PL table is a bit old, and I thought QPR would be much higher in the wage table... And Villa have so many youngsters, how can their wages be so high? Darren Bent?
they sold balotelli and they are planning to offload others too by end of the season cheers mate.. yeahh table is a but old bcz this article was done some weeks ago
i think FFP will force them to clear many of their old players, I think they will end up just like chelsea, a good 11 players with no depth in squad, by trying to keep big names in the team
Chelsea do have some depth in their squad, bit early for them this season but i can see them being a real threat next season. City are stuffed if they don`t spend big and that looks unlikely with FFP kicking in as they already held back last year.
We do have depth, they're just all on ****ing loan Look at some of the quality players on loan - Lukaku, De Bruyne, Courtois, Piazon, Chalobah
I find it interesting that Arsenal are among the under-performers, given that their problems are so often put down to finance.
Arsenal have always had high wages, they're just not willing to cough up the money to buy players who actually deserve the money they spend on wages!
Villa? Whats the point in playing youngsters and losing if they cost as much? Or maybe its because of Bent and N'zogbia(or has he left already). Good to see United are so efficient despite the squad depth. No wonder Nani keeps moaning.
The worse team in terms of performance to wages ratio must be QPR. Incredible amount of money spent on purchase and then on wages....for little return so far. It seems that if you are going to pump money into a club you have to do it in a massive way like the chavs or $ity. half hearted attempts like QPR's just do not work....
