we have got probably the two most adaptable players in the prem in gardener and colback , it is infuriating to keep getting these names thrust forward on a daily basis who is available according to the lists, the reason they are on the list is because ,they cannot get a game or more to the point they are unsubstainable for wages as well ,a deadly mix of which we are trying to address; ie gordon etc
if craig wants to stay and in my view if we can keep jack , and lets be honest i am always glad to see his name on the team sheet as i know he has never let the team down, imo we are on a winner , craig can play in most areas of the pitch as jack, both two footed and no complications off the pitch either.
i bet brian clough ,martins mentor would have loved these two players at forest and derby.
thats my view i await to be bombarded with all fancy names on the list that is mentioned , dont over look the diamonds on the soles of your shoes

Colback is class, and will get better and better.

    Gardner is average as ****.

I've watched your lads play quite a bit this season and I must say I was impressed by Colback but you can tell hes not the finished article, still quite raw but has a touch of class at times that makes him a cut above most.

Gardner is very underwhelming though, can't say I've seen him do much apart from that class free kick, certainly falls into the category of average plodder.

I think Mignolet is great keeper, he always seems to be making fantastic saves every time I see your games or highlights.

Sessegnon is obviously a fantastic talent everyone knows that.

McClean is a decent player but I think he is over rated by the majority of the mackem masses. It seems to be a case of you wanting him to be amazing therefore bigging him up as so, but like Colback still has a lot of time to develop.

Just fancied chucking in my 2 cents on a boring Friday night in <ok>

Mate I dunno what Sunderland matches you watch, but Gardner is very very average at best.

He cannot pass, hangs on to the ball for too long, panicks on the ball - and for someone who was bought to score goals only scored 3. He also seems to want to shoot at every chance.

I would happily get rid of him.

With regards to Colback, I'm fairly sure that everyone on here would keep him and agree he is a brilliant prospect.
