Do we have any centre backs or centre forwards coming through that are good enough for first team football? .
No just **** loads of midfielders

But since then look at our team. This time we may have lost Redmond (Not as bigger loss as Snoddy in my book!) But we have kept Klose and Brady surely PL players. Get promoted and we are two players closer (Or is that Kloser!) to having a team capable of survival than last time. I think then with two more players, a striker and a CB away from survival.

Could very well have what it takes to survive, it would be great if during this season some of the other youth develop so they to will be in 1st team reckoning, but that for me is upto them to prove their worth.

You've put forward a very positive argument I must say General and I fear that unless we're in or around the top 10 by Xmas, then Klose and Brady's agents will be engineering a move for their players
 
As I said earlier NCFC historically can't or won't spend the money to be able to compete at the top level.
With Delia still at the helm why would anything change next time we're in the same position?
So up we go, for one season in the sun, doing everything on the cheap and then wondering why the natives are getting restless when it all goes pear-shaped again.
Until we have some investment at the club and/or a decent scouting network (I hope you're reading this Lee Darnborough <grr>) it just ain't worth the angst and eventual heartbreak of getting promoted.

As said before DD imo both Godfrey and Efete are great prospects - I certainly wouldn't have any fears of putting Godfrey near the first team right here right now.

On the CF situation, it's not quite as rosy - Morris is a big unit, holds the ball well and works like a navvy but lacks a good first touch at times - he's a good hold-up man and brings in the midfield to create a threat but alas, I fear, he is not the 20 goal a season fella you are looking for (not yet anyway).
