Under-18s make it six wins on the bounce

. . . following 2-0 victory over Colchester on Saturday

The Under-18s made it six wins in a row in all competitions following a 2-0 victory over Colchester United on Saturday.
A goal in each half from Steve Fallon and Dan James helped Cameron Toshack's side to all the three points as they continued their fine form.
The game was initially called off on Thursday due to a waterlogged pitch at Florence Park, but the fixture was deemed playable on Friday afternoon as the squad made the long trip to Essex.
And with that in mind, Toshack was delighted with his side's efforts.
"It was a very pleasing afternoon," he said. "it was a long journey and the players had to almost prepare twice for the game, so it was testament to their attitude that they went out and got the win.
"We weren't quite at the races early on but we settled into the game and scored a great goal with some wonderful combination play.
"We went into our shell a little after the goal but in the second half we were excellent.
"We spoke to the boys at half time and their reaction was superb. That's six wins on the spin now, including the cup games, and it's very pleasing for myself and Gary (Richards)."

SWANS U18s: Lewis Thomas, Aaron Lewis, Kai Owens, Cameron Gilchrist, Joe Rodon, Adnan Maric (Keiran Evans, 80), Jamie Latham (Tom Dyson, 80), Kyle Copp, Dan James, Steve Fallon, Owain Jones.
