I read this article and thought it was very fair! It was interesting reading the subscribers comments at the end, which are moderated to ensure it recieves sensible views!
What's particularly interesting about this whole affair is that the majority if people wading in with their opinion is that they all seem to believe Chelsea are making this up. What if Chelsea are right?
Think those spouting the "made it up story" are indulging in a little wishful thinking, or at best taking the opportunity to do some CFC bashing because of the awkward spot we are in. Imagine the uproar if the story had got out and we didn't make a complaint !!!!! Looks to me as if CFC did what was necessary, and in the proper manner. Only blot is the dressing room fracas. A classic case of between a rock and a hard place. Whatever the merits of the action, it would be nice to play our games without controversy hanging round our necks. Time for our upstairs Management to indulge in a little Managing !!!!!
CP-What you have said is the most poingnant part of all this! If the brass were worthy of their appointments, all this non-football related crap would have been jumped on and managed out of the press on day one! As it is , its been allowed to fester over a ridiculous amount of time and made the club appear in in the worst possible light. Roman needs to get Gourlay and Buck in his office and give them a bit of toasting on both sides!
