    A few positives;

. Double figures in points. :D

    . Unbeaten in 4.

. Another difficult fixture crossed off the list

. 7 PL goals now for Suarez

. 8 goals in 4 games (Suarez scoring 5 of them)

. BR showed his tactical nuance at half time, changed the game pretty well

Today was gutting, no doubt about that, but before the disallowed goal I would of took the point. Most importantly we're picking up points when we're not playing well and we've finally given ourselves a platform to build on, we're 7 points of fourth (If Tottenham win), which if you consider our bad start, isn't the end of the world.

Since the Norwich game we've kicked on, picking up 8 points from 12 and beating Anzhi in the EL, I'm feeling more optimistic now than I was a few weeks ago that's for sure.

    - Our failure to win was not at all our fault.

If we just concentrate on the games BR has won in his career he has a 100% win rate. Everything's coming up roses.

Oh **** off. You know full well we should have had 3 points today in one of the most difficult fixtures of the season (especially now considering Everton's start of season form). I cannot wait until Brendan brings us some success so you can get the **** off this forum out of embarrassment.

Was impressed by BR's tactical switch at HT. I could criticise him for not making some sort of change before Everton's 2nd, as you could see it coming bearing in mind how it was created, but that would be extremely harsh

No point in arguing with him. I am 99 percent certain he is Rafa Benitez himself.

Tactically today Rodgers got it spot on in the second (not so much the first) but those changes made us better as the game went on.

I think we're all gutted (and a tad angry) about the end of the game but overall a point at Woodison I'd take every single season. A point and the moral high ground <laugh>

A good battle and a good game. A very young team vs a very old one as well so hope on that front. We've got another couple of toughies coming up but if we can fight like that we'll give ourselves a chance.

    Keep it up Redmen <ok>

Yeah there are positives. Although we were a little overrun by Everton, we are starting to look a lot more dangerous.

We've got some serious injuries which when resolved will makes things easier at the back.

We have such a thin squad and its costing us. Get Lucas back and then we can push Gerrard forward. Johnson and Kelly back and then our defence looks better.

Should be a good game. We tend to beat you at Anfield but you have a lot more goals in you than we have.

The OP has a good point but only if that unbeaten in 4 turns into 5,6,7 or 8. If we lose to Newcastle then unbeaten in 4 means nothing.

    True.

The form of Skerts is a real positive for me. He's battled back well from that City mistake which must of smacked him sideways. I'm sold on him now, alongside Agger as being true Reds.

I'm also starting to see a future for Coates too. Gradually improving - I just think he needs an arm around his shoulder to get his confidence up.

I thought Wisdom was out of his depth today, as was Sterling and Suso - but then I forgot how young they are! They will only get stronger from the experience.

Luckily they won't have to face Fellani every week who I thought bossed us for large periods.

I tend to agree. This is his best team and his best opportunity of winning something.

Your right but...as I have already said when players get old or leave they get replaced the same as they do for Liverpool which makes Davidako's comment rightfully dum..

Yeah players come through that is true. Everton do tend to bring some good youngsters through - who often get sold.

Pretty sure 2 started, and one was our best player midweek.
