so the Chairman would like us to stand up and sing so another forum member suggests...so I wonder if the club will allow some of this...

The pyros might be a step to far but the giant flags look good.

I think supporters should be given the choice to stand or sit at football stadiums, I have stood at AFC Wimbledon and not been able to see a thing because their terrace is so low down but grounds like Burton Albion and Torquay United give you good sight-lines from behind the goal.

Clubs in Germany use Rail Seats which are safer then the old style terracing as you cannot get crushed and you will be able to see what is going on, on the football pitch and create a fantastic atmosphere.

Burton Albion was fantastic last season, singing " Your Going Up With The Gills" to Burton Albion Supporters and clapping their players off the pitch was a proud moment to be a Gillingham Supporter.

You get backing like that from your home fans it's gotta be worth extra points to your season total.

You'd get a lot more confidence, arrogance and energy from your own players and they'd also be more willing to run through brick walls for the cause. Plus maybe that touch of fear in the opponents. Would have to be better than the energy and confidence sapping powers of instant criticism and derision that seems to emanate from our crowd at times.
