Northern Ireland - The threat level to protestants has jumped 3 notches today Thursday to severe. A number of politicians and local Orange Lodge members have warned Protestants to stay away from stairways. A coded threat was intercepted in a high tech surveillance operation involving more than 150 PSNI officers.
