Apparently was told he is not getting a new deal.

Goodbye to the man - did a good job while he was here.

We have moved forward but well done to the lad he was brilliant for is when we needed him most. I hope we sign another target man though - always a vital option in a squad

Is the reason why the Mahrez situation hasn't been resolved yet.

It's a delicate situation and we are victims of our own success. Mahrez no question should get what Vardy has and what Kante was offered. The others need to get rises for their contributions but also understand that whilst it was a great team effort, the market dictates certain members of that team will be entitled to more

Claudio Ranieri says reports "are not true" about Leonardo Ulloa wanting to leave Leicester City.

    I'd disagree with that.

He's the only real target man we've got and he has always done a good job when asked to step up. He's been effective at both ends of the pitch for us. Hopefully Ranieri's denial is true.

Success is always going to breed jealousy. The boys up front will always command higher salaries due to demand for their services. The same may be said for a keeper but those that do the donkey work will never get the same. I wonder how Wes feels as skipper not earning the same as others. Sorry drifted off topic. Ulloa was bought after a good championship season and since he hasn't let us down but we have moved on so not surprised if he has asked to move on.

But I do feel it vital to replace him with a target man if he does go. Such an important plan B/C.

Would be nice to recoup the money we spent for him, though he does offer a different option. My guess is we'd only sell him if we were certain on another striker coming in.

How good is he though? Do you think he's worth the £10 million? I'd say £5 million tops?

£10m is last years £2.5m. Worth every penny.

He did well for us when we got promoted under Pearson, but doesn't suit the fast counter-attacking we played last year. Still came on and won us points though when we needed him.

If your playing 1 up front, then he certainly can bring that physical presence to the team and is good to play off of. Can score a few with his head as well <ok>

£10m is nothing now-a-days, you could pay roughly that for a reserve/backup striker. Even the ****test strikers in the league are being sold for £5m+
