I bet the little Englanders are all in a tizzy at the 30 degrees predicted for today <laugh>

Climate change, global warming, hosepipe bans, the great, great, great greatest granny dieing due the heat, despite her being a 105 years old, bless her.

Anyway going to be 36 degrees here today and 37 tomorrow, just another normal day in other parts of the world, where they don't even discuss the weather <whistle>

37 degrees is just annoying. I have to take the tube on Thursday which will be great.

France are all over it. We’ll act like it’s never happened before.

... I speak his language ... broadly, he is saying that there is now a water shortage in Scotland (although I have no idea why he appears so pleased at the prospect) <ok>

It is hot though. Got family arriving tomorrow so I just bought and am filling up a 10 foot paddling pool. Not for the kids to cool down in. I'm going to use it for water storage as there'll be a hosepipe ban by Friday lunchtime.

Just walked down the shops and back, am now drenched in sweat and about to go to Croydon - 1.5 hour journey by bus and train. Oh joy.

Last 3 hours moving paving slabs and digging out a new patio.

Time to chill and enjoy the rest of my day off.

  19. I thought you had written “Tats oot!”

But then I read what you had actually written and I saw that it wasn’t what I initially thought.
