Interesting...... and yes 'No deal is better than a second referendum' is a very interesting contrapoint isnt it ..... as most reasonable people would go for an outcome that was the middle ground.....
Struck me as a satirical piece. I have no time at all for the sham of brexit.... as if you needed reminding. Personally I think there should be a second referendum, you know - unfinished business and all that. Fool ourselves twice then shame on us and we'll have to lie in the bed we make.

Oh yes.. Satire of course.. I just found it interesting that that is the counterpoint. Bloody mindedness rather than a meaningful compromise..

Personally I'm terrified of no deal. On that basis I really don't want a second referendum as that will almost certainly push us to it. You can imagine the likes of Boris on the campaign trail "what we have here is a simple choice - you can lick Tusk's boots or kick him in the nads. You decide".

Yet in the end a second referendum is the only way out of this - it simply cannot happen that Britain leaves at a time when the majority of the country may be against such and event. A second opinion is absolutely necessary for a step of this magnitude. I sometimes think that, despite her rhetoric on this, that TM. would welcome it if somebody took the intitiative out of her hands and ordered such an event from above. The interesting thing about a second referendum would be that our politicians would be forced to take sides again - what would TM. do in such a scenario ? Would Corbyn sit on the fence again ?

On another note I'm interested if Corbyn will be pressurized into doing a dance routine next time he goes on the podium - what music would he use ? <laugh>

I'm a loser - Beatles

It seems the EU and the ERG Group are singing from the same hymn sheet with the Canada +++ deal. May is now sliding towards this whilst trying not to lose face. The Labour Party is apparently still on course to wreck any agreement for short term political purposes.

It would be that White Stripes song and would be equally as embarrassing as yesterday. I'll admit to people who don't mind making fools of themselves going up in my estimation but she still shouldn't have done it!
