So you admit that your traitors in the Tory party cannot bring the PM down.

The traitors are a very small number, about a dozen, Clarke, Soubry, Morgan and Grieve being the worst. Many of their constituents have already complained about their lack of loyalty to the party and the country.

As a diabetic I must speak for a fellow diabetic.. It seems like she was suffering from hypos as a result of imbalances with her medication. Not much fun... And clearly not her usual self

The silly woman gets her sums wrong all the time, the diabetic story was merely to cover the acute embarrassment.

My dad and all his brothers and sisters are diabetic so I don't take it lightly <yikes> I was really making the point that criticising anything from one side immediately brings criticism of either Corbyn or Abbot....

As an observer, not a paid up member, I would believe that you should be supporting the party, not trying to bring it down, because if the PM goes you can be sure she will make sure that the traitors such as Moggy will go down with her. Today we have seen a clear movement from the opposition to make some sense of their position, and should the whole mess descend into a GE, then if I were a Tory I would be very worried.

Nothing about the Labour position is clear. The main components in the leadership all have different ideas and they keep contradicting each other. If you are banking on this rabble you will be disappointed again.

I do not bank upon either rabble to get the country out of the current mess. According to you the government cannot, and the opposition cannot. It seems little point in backing the small bunch of traitors in the Tories party as they show themselves to be incapable of producing a plan that makes any sense. Just like the population as a whole there is no agreement about the right thing for the country, but that has always been the case since people voted for something that did not have the detail available now. All indicators show that there is a movement away from Brexit, and if it goes through as forecast, there will only be one party to get the blame, unless the opposition gets some of the flak for not making enough noise.

The Tory government is quite capable of sorting Brexit out once it ditches the source of the recent dodgy advice from Hammond, Robbins and the other remainers in the civil service. The referendum, as well as the 1975 version, was meant to offer a simple binary choice, which it duly did. The public voted to leave the EU. There is no discernible move away from Brexit by the UK public according to the polling expert, John Curtis.

Any political party not carrying out the will of the people, as in the 2016 referendum, will surely face the wrath of the electorate. It would make a mockery of UK politics. You have rubbished the two main UK political parties, are you pinning your hopes on the Lib Dems? They are rarer than an Everton win at the moment. You also backed Macron's party last year, your choices have a habit of attracting minimal general support.

Yes exactly... Did you see Kuensberrg try to entrap Corbyn with leading questions about a referendum last night. Sadly the media fall for black and white reporting rather than fact.

I do not warm to Abbott in any way but the woman clearly had poorly managed blood sugars.

Poorly managed brain cells more like, she has a history of talking nonsense.

It is quite clear now that the whole exercise is a huge waste of taxpayers money that in the end will produce nothing to satisfy the public. You typify the split within the government with the bunch of oddballs trying to undermine the only possible way forward. The opposition can sit back and watch the Tories self destructing. The only way to settle this chaos is to ask the voters, do you still want to leave now that you can see what it will mean. You cannot say that there should not be another vote when the PM called an unnecessary general election. Democracy is not democracy unless people can change their minds. For once I agree with David Davis.

You are asking for something that has been repeatedly ruled out. David Davis's quote referred to a gap of over forty years. Your are quite welcome to have another referendum on EU membership in 2058.

The EU seems to be breeding lame ducks. Firstly we see all of Macron's credibility seep away due to his unprecedented unpopularity now we have Merkel seriously wounded by her own party and the German press labelling her as blame duck.
May is on borrowed time but she might outlast the other two!!!!!!

You know, if there is anything happening in any other EU. country which you can point the finger at then you will do it. In common with the Brexit comics that you read you are all too willing to grasp at any weakness in any country of the EU. at any time in order to indicate that the whole thing is on the verge of collapse - sometimes I think you want the EU. to collapse. Have you ever heard anyone over here doing the same thing about the UK ? The joke here is that you can happily do this yet accuse the other side of being spitefull ! If Britain leaves, by whatever means, then I wish the country nothing but the best in the future - and there is no European who wishes otherwise (at least they have not said it). The same is not true from your side - so tell me where is the spite coming from ?
