Monsieur er....Superrrrorns, I presume that you mean by 'sensible agreement' you want something better than trade under WTO conditions - something approximating what you have now ie. Tariff free access to our markets, and I emphasize markets because, as an EU member state you currently enjoy preferential access to the markets of 50 non EU. countries. You want to keep all the good sides of membership but avoid the responsibilities is that your meaning ? You understand, of course, that nothing can proceed along these lines until you stop using the word 'ransom' to describe our invitation to set out a plan of repayment of outstanding debts. I would also encourage you to stick to these negotiations rather than try to mix them with any prognosis on your side as to the EU's future. Would you like to spell out again what your 'red lines' are ?

Reread May's mansion House speech my little froggy friend. If you have forgotten already may I suggest it is about time you took your fat pension and left politics.

What’s your view on this statement?

“Another common misapprehension is that questions about the border are linked to controlling immigration. In fact immigration is not controlled at the border but at the workplace. Further control is provided by restricting access to the benefits system and to housing”
@superhorns you missed replying to this ^

I presume from this reply that you have nothing to add ! I am not interested in looking up anything but rather hearing what you have to say, which is, apparently, very little. My understanding of the matter is that you want to keep goods flowing but place walls around people - this is not my idea of acting on the behalf of citizens.

It is my idea of acting on behalf of UK citizens, it is what they voted for.

I now realise that after all this rhetoric... you have NO proposed plan do you???
<laugh>
None of them have a plan, you’ve only got to see the utter tripe that Mogg and his merry band of lunatics produced this week to see that as soon as they write anything down, it all falls apart.

Which is why Davis didn’t produce a single thing in over 2 years as having Brexit as his sole responsibility and the likes of Johnson, Patel and the rest of the charlatans haven’t produced as much as a side of A4.

‘No deal’ is literally the only way that these shysters can continue through to the end without having any form of plan whatsoever. Then when there’s no deal they’ll blame everyone else, from the EU to May, despite having trumpeted it since the off.

Brexit has become nothing more than dogma and ideology, any semblance of presence that it actually makes any sense whatsoever and pretending what the tangible benefits will be, are long gone. It’s now become Brexit at any cost, we want what we voted for and the ugliest version possible please, pass me the claw hammer, as I want to smash myself in the face with it.

Almost everybody has slagged off Robbins failed plan. I'm quite happy to trust the ERG Group to negotiate for a sensible free trade deal or sensible cooperation failing this. The Red lines as outlined in May's Mansion House speech should be non negotiable whilst aiming for the best possible deal. Relying on half witted civil servants has obviously failed, now let those with more experience take over negotiations.
Stop having a go at, and insulting, civil servants - you have no idea of the amount of work we are putting into this and the challenges we face from all sides.

Do you know the reasons why people voted the way they did ? It appears that over 65% of your citizens either voted against, or did not vote at all - together with the many British citizens living in the EU. who were, effectively disenfranchised. So I do not think you can speak for what ''UK Citizens'' wanted. However - the fact that you are here at the negotiating table implies that you want something from us.

You should get used to Everton being well beaten when Silva loses interest as he normally does after a while.

Read this report and take in the information.

Still avoiding that quote I see.........I can understand why, as it fundamentally contradicts one of the cornerstones of Brexit and in addition your own stated opinion on the subject.

Oh well.

Bitterness is an ugly trait btw.

You really should study the government's immigration rules on key workers covering non EU migrants. I would expect something similar to cover potential EU migrants after Brexit. There is also scope for short term working visas to cover low skilled jobs.

No bitterness just enjoying the moment, you are welcome to the scallywag.

You really should read the quote I posted yesterday and reposted for you again earlier.....the one you’ve been dodging.

Those who voted for remaining in the EU have made a simple calculation that the country is better off with the social and economic benefits that our membership has brought about. Those who voted to leave cannot agree amongst the various factions just what they want. The Chequers plan, which is the only one on the table, is acceptable to some, needs alteration by others, and totally rejected by others. The red lines that the PM stated were not to be crossed have been watered down to no longer be red. Those on the leave side have so many ideas of what they do want, but cannot write down how to achieve the varying degrees of cooperation that they want. As soon as they try they start to fall apart, going back to the factional warfare that has existed for years in the Tory party. Without any clear idea of what the leavers want Brexit to be, it is impossible to say that it is the will of the people.

I read it and gave you the answer. You obviously do not understand how the system works.

Companies are able to apply to a government agency for an overseas applicant if they can prove they cannot fill a vacancy through the domestic labour market. The UK government will be free to decide on the level and criteria on which this system is based. Much better than a free for all decided by Brussels.

The will of the people was decided in 2016, the UK leaving the EU was the result. The losing side has tried many stalling tactics, all have failed so far. The only hope they have is to keep muddying the water.

I see more muddying of the waters being done by the various factions of Brexiteers who cannot agree what people did vote for. You do not want the Chequers deal, but there has not been a viable plan presented by others. They had the chance and pulled out when they realised the holes that existed as pointed out by those who were supposed to be supporting it. The EU are discussing the only thing that has been presented to them. That cannot discuss something that you might want, but no one has been able to convince the government makes sense.

Davis and Baker had a viable plan that was ditched in favour of Robbin's poor effort which has been rejected by all. A fatal mixture of incompetent civil servants and a remain leaning PM.
