As someone told me over lunch today, Belfast has some nice new trains paid for in part by the EU and loans supplied by the ECB. I take it that you are in favour of not repaying this money and watching the UK credit rating drop through the floor.

A friend just psent two weeks holidaying in France.... watched TV news evey night only once saw a 'brief' item on Brexit...seems like we believe ourselves to be more important than we are.
Incidentally a 'no deal' solution will be very bad for the UK and will be worse for us in so many ways than the EU as a whole.... very dangerous to even consider going there..... let alone threaten to 'ram it down their throats'......

As long as words like 'ransom' are being used to describe Britain's legitimate debts there is no rosy future possible with our closest neighbours, which is very sad.
Almost everybody has slagged off Robbins failed plan. I'm quite happy to trust the ERG Group to negotiate for a sensible free trade deal or sensible cooperation failing this. The Red lines as outlined in May's Mansion House speech should be non negotiable whilst aiming for the best possible deal. Relying on half witted civil servants has obviously failed, now let those with more experience take over negotiations.
Once again wishful thinking, but no actual way of sorting things out in the next couple of months. ERG are a busted flush, couldn't publish their 140 page plan, and couldn't suggest anything new over the border issue They cannot muster the numbers to get rid of the PM, so there is little point in keep thinking there will be a change in leadership. Something constructive is required now, not empty slogans from beer mats.
You will find the loans are originally supplied through the UK government.
Wrong, the ERG Group do not want to change the PM just encourage her to rediscover her backbone. The plan for the Irish Border is workable but the EU are using the border issue for negotiations purposes.
It was not long ago you suggested the far right in France was a busted flush. It is now becoming the favourite to be the largest party in next year's European elections. Your predictions have a habit of being wrong, hopefully you are not a gambler!!!

I think you will find most civil servants have more experience than most ministers... .true.
However let's get clear about what you are saying... and no insults please..
1) You dont accept the Chequers plan.
2) You dont say why ( please clarify for me)
3) You support the ERG to negotiate
4) You dont have any clear proposals on the detail
Well that takes us back to square one!
Can you not kindly take it on yourself to make a proposal of what you clearly advocate???

The reality is that this is probably the hardest situation the UK has had to work with since WW2...
No solution is going to please some or other faction....
I would just like to see a workable solution. David Davis couldn't come up with one could he? You dont appear to be able to either do you?

David Davis was sidetracked by the inept Robbins who the 'remainer' May unfortunately trusted. Davis and Baker had a plan which was superseded by the fatal Chequers option which failed on all accounts, quite a feat.

Don't blame me if you have failed to understand. I have clearly set out my preferences and red lines. It is up to UK negotiators to hopefully achieve the best outcome with an EU that concerns more about the eurocrats than its inhabitants.
The ERG Group approach is the only viable option if capitulation is to be avoided.
The ERG have no approach which is why they didn't publish their heavily trailed document.

I want to keep the red lines the UK voted for and conclude a sensible agreement with the EU to safeguard trade in the UK and the EU. I would remind you your priorities should be the inhabitants of the remaining EU countries rather than the overpaid eurocrats. I would remind you of the rising anti EU surge throughout the EU and the suffering caused by EU policies towards Southern European countries. I would also advise you to get out before the EU implodes in the next few years.
Monsieur er....Superrrrorns, I presume that you mean by 'sensible agreement' you want something better than trade under WTO conditions - something approximating what you have now ie. Tariff free access to our markets, and I emphasize markets because, as an EU member state you currently enjoy preferential access to the markets of 50 non EU. countries. You want to keep all the good sides of membership but avoid the responsibilities is that your meaning ? You understand, of course, that nothing can proceed along these lines until you stop using the word 'ransom' to describe our invitation to set out a plan of repayment of outstanding debts. I would also encourage you to stick to these negotiations rather than try to mix them with any prognosis on your side as to the EU's future. Would you like to spell out again what your 'red lines' are ?
