I imagine this has been done before, but watching today's game I was struck by the ugliness of a couple of the Bolton players - namely Spearing and Wheater - and wondered how they would fit into a current ugly team. I know there are some great uglies from the past - Eric Gates and our own dear Ian Dowie to name but two - but who would be in your current ugly team? I going to name my favourite front two as Tevez and Suarez - world class uglies!

That particular aspect never really crossed my mind - just noted that compared to us, Bolton seemed like a very tall side, and was surprised they didn't win more headers. As Barton stated, we certainly don't mind winning ugly!

Maybe he meant winning against ugly.

The old adage of 'seen better heads on a beer' probably needs to get a run here. Our own Harry would probably make manager!
Just as well we are no oil paintings ourself, right?

Speak for yourself. I could be pinned up in the National Portrait Gallery! #LennyMclean-esque
I did wonder about Bolton's height on line up too. I remember a Gooner friend of mine a couple of years back seeing our boys come out before a 1-0 win saying "QPR are big - we won't like that". Harry seems to prefer small and quick.... apart from Dunne!

I read somewhere that when Wheater was born the midwife slapped his mother.
