Not a pretty sight say's the man...

    Busted cheekbone?

Nicklas Bendtner is set for a scan on a facial injury after being substituted against Swansea.

The on-loan striker was forced off just 13 minutes into Sunderland's 2-0 win after taking a heavy blow to the face.
Bendtner left the field nursing a badly swollen eye and further investigations are scheduled for Sunday.

"Nicklas couldn't see out of his left eye - it's rather badly swollen," O'Neill said after the victory, earned via goals from Stephane Sessegnon and Craig Gardner.
"The doctor is going to give it a scan tomorrow and the concern at the minute is that he could have broken his cheekbone."

On a lighter note, O'Neill quipped: "He's not a pretty sight at the minute, but I'm not so sure that he ever is!"

wonder if this injury will force MoN's hand and we will end up bringing a striker into the club. IMO if a top class striker aint available or someone decent onloan then I would wait till the summer

    Pavyluchenko would be good IMO

I don't. Spurs will want cash for him imo to go out and buy someone.

I don't think he would come up here anyway.

I honestly dont know why. I think he would feel more at home up here considering the temperature is about the same as Russia.
