http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/24749146 UEFA has ordered the partial closure of CSKA Moscow's stadium during the club's next Champions League tie following racist chanting directed at Manchester City's Yaya Toure. One of the single-tiered ends of Arena Khimki will be closed when CSKA host Bayern Munich on 27 November. So once again UEFA do virtually nothing - all the talk of expulsion from competition or docking point was just that - empty talk. Until UEFA and FIFA get tough on this it will continue to happen - maybe next time a team should simply walk off the pitch if one of their players is abused by these morons - this would force the authorities to make a decision. I must say Yaya Toure came out of it with a great deal of credit - his point about boycotting the Russian World Cup is interesting - however FIFA will be wanting to keep on the good side of their new Russian corporate sponsors, so don't hold your breath on them doing much. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/24660581
Plenty of players are ready to boycott the WC in Russia unless they clean up their act over there. And rightly so!
I might be somewhat paranoid, but wonder what sort of sanctions would be heaped on British Clubs should they do the same. Also wait for reports of Russian storm troopers breaking down doors at 5/6am in the morning to apprehend the culprits and then sending them off to the appropriate Gulag!! Unlikely I think. As said above respect to Toure.
So Toure is getting vexed about players being called names ... This Toure chap views on torture ... Where does he get his kerching from. Bad smell under the carpet at home.
