UEFA EURO 2021 (2020)

To keep everyone's interest during the summer, I will run a prediction league for the Euros:

If you wish to participate, I need to know who you think will win each group, and who will come second, BEFORE the competition starts in June.

These are the six groups:

Group A (Rome/Baku): Turkey, Italy (hosts), Wales, Switzerland
Group B (Copenhagen/St Petersburg): Denmark (hosts), Finland, Belgium, Russia (hosts)
Group C (Amsterdam/Bucharest): Netherlands (hosts), Ukraine, Austria, North Macedonia
Group D (London/Glasgow): England (hosts), Croatia, Scotland (hosts), Czech Republic
Group E (Bilbao/Dublin): Spain (hosts), Sweden, Poland, Slovakia
Group F (Munich/Budapest): Hungary (hosts), Portugal (holders), France, Germany (hosts)

See example below which you can copy and paste, and just place your two teams in the order you think they will finish..

Group A (Rome/Baku): 1. Italy 2. Wales
Group B (Copenhagen/St Petersburg): 1. ? 2 ?
Group C (Amsterdam/Bucharest): and so on...

You will get 2 points for a correct first place and 1 point for a correct second place, NO POINTS if those teams finish the opposite away round or if they come 3rd & 4th.

Nearer the time I will give you fixtures to predict on, to earn lots of additional points, but before doing that, I just need to check everyone understands this stage first and it will also give me an idea, how many wish to participate.

Only just noticed what a group Group F is. Either a recipe for some spectacular football, or the most dreary matches you'll ever witness if everyone plays as if they're afraid to lose.
