Not pretty reading for England in 2016.17 http://www.uefa.com/memberassociations/uefarankings/club/ Chelsea top five as usual but seeing as they are not even near the European spots, NA. United down to 20, so could be a third tier seed for next year's group phase if they get top 4; ie not a piss easy group like this season.... especially for a second tier seed (compare their group to City's 15/16). They desperately need a good run in Europa or to win the title to avoid a group of death. Put it this way, Spurs could overtake take them in the coefficients list if they have a better Europa run than United. Arsenal 9th and City 14th, so could be second tier seeds next season, or top tier if they lift title.
You spend a peculiarly large amount of time worrying about coefficients, particularly when you consider that your club won't even be in Europe next season. It's a very modern fan kind of thing to obsess about. In competitions like the CL you have to beat the best to win it. Whether you beat them in the group stages or the final is largely irrelevant unless you are responsible for the club's accounts. If a team doesn't get through the group stages because two other clubs performed better than them then it suggests that they weren't good enough to win the competition and wouldn't have won it had they been in a weaker group!
I understand how they calculate it, I just find it odd that winning things isn't given more influence in the rankings. Basel and Leverkusen ranking above them doesn't seem right to me, for example.
What I don't understand is how Man U for example got points last season when they were not in Europe?
I think that each club gets a base amount just for being from a certain country. Man Utd got the same amount as Newcastle, Stoke, etc, as none of them played in Europe.
2017-18 allocations: (points from 2011-12 to 2015-16) 95.285 Spain 75.320 Germany 72.659 England 69.272 Italy 51.082 Portugal 51.249 France 50.882 Russia 2018-19 allocations: (points from 2012-13 to 2016-17) 74.428 Spain 60.070 Germany 57.915 Italy 57.409 England 41.132 Russia 40.749 France 39.249 Portugal Also possible France will lose ther 3rd spot to Russia.
I don't know if this is of any relevance to this thread, but, at school, my class did a study that looked at the coefficient of cock sizes across the region, and it turned out that my cock was in the top quartile. The quartiles were coded Inverted, laughable, normal, and monstrous. Most of my class mates hovered around the "laughable" and "normal" divide.
I don't think anyone would dispute the assertion that you're a monstrous cock and a massive bell end. Oddly enough you're also a gigantic twat.
... ohhhh ... the Harvard cock measurement faculty? ... you should have been more explicit ...what fraternity where you in? ... Penis Minor?
