    There's some **** football going on.

    We keep kicking the ball into touch, particularly Fielding and Macienne reminds me of Amoo, he looks like he doesn't know what he's supposed to be doing.

    Mancienne is vastly over-rated. He's meant to be a centre back and is playing for Hamburg next season - for the last couple of games he's played woeful in the holding midfield role.

    By the way, good finish Welbeck...

    Rodwell off for Sinclair, Mancienne still on, that's why Psycho won't get the big job.

    We're looking alot better now. Playing some good football, Sturridge is getting in far more threatening positions.

    I am in a dilema now though - The Apprentice or U21's game?? :undecided:

    <ok>
    Was captain during qualifying so Pearce is sticking with his leader (although I think Phil Jones would make a far better captain)

    i'd ave kept rodwell on but i think the bookin may ave swayed it....how is mancienne the skipper surely jones or smalling would ave been a better choice..they looked class in both games

    Need to beat the Czechs then, and they're not half a bad team. Out in the group stage I think - draw on Sunday IMO, and we definitely won't win if Mancienne gets started in central midfield

    You sure you weren't watching the repeat of the State of Origin, OLM? They were going for 40-20 obviously.

    Thought they played well against Spain but this was poor from start to finish. Psycho got his tactics wrong and played into the worst team in the group's hands. Dreadful. Gotta do better against the Czechs or else my love for international football will be gone for good.

    Lots of things wrong with England U21s which show me that we are well behind other countries in player development

    1, Our "stars" think they have made it too soon, Whiltshire and Carroll are away on holiday and obvioulsy think they are too big for U21s and dont want to "burn out". Really? Where were they last summer? Not at the world cup thats for sure, however Mata and the other Spanish lad (Martinez I think) where with the Spainsh world cup squad last summer, played a full season, and still turn out for U21s.

    2, We cannot keep the ball. Even with 3 in CM against a "lesser" side we lost possession, when we did have possession the were a couple of passes, then hoofed up field. $-3-3 works by keeping possession with short passes

    3, We cant play other formations, last night was 4-3-3, yet the CMs didnt dominate, they didnt pass and move, and when they did break forward to support the attack no one covered the defence. The full backs never pushed on, which is what you need to get width, the wing forwards didnt drag defenders into channels or offer themselves up for passes, look at how top wing forwards do this, Messi, Ronaldo, Rooney, Suarez, Anelka ect, the drag defenders out of position, show for the ball, then when out of possession work at getting the ball back and close down.

    All in all very very poor
