The under 21s team have just battered Man City 6-2. Knocky very impressive; setting up 3 and Lawrence scored a brace. Think Knocks should have a run out against West Brom- he's got something to prove.

Good result. I always like to have a quick look to see how they are getting on.
You may have a point about AK, some thing needs to be change at the top level.
If I was still living in Leicester I´d pop alone to some of these `rags`games, they sound very entertaining.

Apparently Knockaert personally asked to play in this game tonight...

Good on him, if true <ok>

I think Knocky should be given a chance in the middle of the park, particularly as Drinkwater has been poor recently. He's still one of our best players, and it seems a shame to see him in the reserves, though I'm sure he'll come into the fold at some point. We still have exciting young players like him, Lawrence and Powell to come in, and while I think the likes of Hammond, Konchesky etc. have done pretty well so far, these guys are the way forward. Teams like Southampton are proving that experience in this division isn't necessarily the way forward.

I wonder if he was asked before and he thought it was under him, sort of thing Pearson would take exception to, maybe why he isn't appearing near the first team.

Probably a long shot though, probably much more simple explanation that Mahrez is better at the moment.

He is just too similar to Mahrez but personally, at the moment, i would start him.

At this point, you can't play both him and Mahrez. Not enough stability, as Knockaert in particular can go walkabout in games. However, if you take one off, you need to replace him with the other. None of this taking off Mahrez and bringing on Matty James malarkey.

Knockaert used the under 21's to get some form last season when he wasn't in the starting line up at the start of the season
