Just seen Wigley being interviewed by Sky at SMS prior to match today. How many are going? I believe they opened a second stand. Shame Lallana's not playing, but hope you all enjoy the game and look forward to your views later.

I really wanted to go but lack of finance has let me down. Shame, but I'll live.

It wasn't the ticket price, but the cost of my fare from the Island. Without any Saints interest, it wasn't worth it, but I hope there's a good crowd to increase our chances of similar games.

Ah IoW, I see. Similar situation for me - no idea what the ticket price is (I assumed roughly the same as a Saints match) but I have to rely on public transport which isn't cheap.

I agree, would love to see St Mary's getting internationals be it the occasional friendly (Macedonia is not enough!) or more U21 games. We'll see, I guess!

Football season is over. Therefore, this can't be football taking place.

    Will watch the cricket instead.

U21s European Champs on Sky soon...may help me get through a bit more of this interminable summer. In cricket, hope England can get a few wickets today..nothing more tedious than watching the opposition clock up runs. There are real cricket afficionados who love good cricket from both sides...I'm not one of them. Totally partisan.

Cricket is painful at the moment - very pleased to see 22-3 turned into over 400 until Dilshan decided to be a pain in the arse. Hoping he'll get out early. Not even gonna mention Hampshire as of late in terms of being painful to watch, even if we did manage our second (!!) win the other day.

Ticket prices are actually pretty good, only £10 for adults and £5 for kids. Not bad considering the quality of some of the players on view.

I'll be there supporting our boys. Hopefully be a better performance then that joke of an England performance last night, with the exception of Ashley Young and Jack Wilshire!

Also fingers crossed Chambo gets some playing time and Enlgand U19's can make it to the proper tournement stages! Though I believe the game against Spain is a re-run of the Semi-final from the last U19 competition so should be pretty tough.

    Cumon England :D

Hopefully they knew how to use the toilets, probably stunned by such a big stadium compared to theirs.

Watched bits of it on ESPN and it was as I expected. No tempo, and much like a low key practice match, pretty awful really.

Astounded 18,000 paid to watch it. Probably would see a more competitive game down the local park.
