Lost Cousins, Pigott, Smith,Harriott now Azeez-that's a lot of firepower. Plus Nathan Jones.

Could you see Munns breaking into the first team within the next year or so... Or do you feel its too early to make an assessment or that he's behind others in the queue (i.e. Bradley Jordan / Diego Poyet)

Out of the list of people you've stated above I reckon Nathan Jones is the biggest loss

I think if Bradley Jordan was going to break into the first-team he'd have got a chance by now, maybe in the League Cup. IMO Diego Poyet is the 2nd best def-mid in the club after Andy Hughes, just my opinion. Munns is much more attacking, he seems to be going the right way about the business of giving the manager a nudge. I was hugely impressed by Nathan Jones, especially the innovative way he brought out the best of his players. He's a coach with a big future methinks.

I agree with Forest, if Powell is to go you could do a lot worse than Nathan Jones. The U21s blossomed under him last year. He is a great motivator and his teams play the right way with the ball on the deck.

Must have been a culture shock for Joe Pigott switching to a long-ball game. Maybe he's doing jumping exercises to try and win his place back.

Yup agreed... Would love him back as Manager if Powell was to go, I dont know why I couldnt see it happening though.

Another one who wouldnt be a bad choice would be Damien Matthew... after watching his career over the last few years he's steadily progressed like Brian McDermott / Brendon Rodgers have done

I see a trialist "Antelmi" came on towards the end. This is presumably Patrick Antelmi, a 19-year-old Australian striker released by Leeds and was on trial at Derby until Clough got sacked.

The difference could be that he would get games with us if good enough. Perhaps at Leeds and Derby he was competing with 4 or 5 other strikers and didn't get a chance to settle into the team and show what he can do.

With Pigott in the first team squad and Smith and Azeez out on loan we only have Sho-Silva as an u21 striker, and he is no target man.

"Blackburn and Wolves want to sign Patrick Antelmi, an Australian striker. But Charlton are the frontrunners and have the 19-year-old on trial, even though he didn't commit a crime."

    mmmm....

He used to play in his teens for Blacktown city Demons, where I live at the moment. Great to see him turn up at CAFC, makes me feel a little closer to you guys ! Sign him up, he goes good.
