This one is looking more appealing with todays game off and maybe one of the factors as to why and with ticket prices like that it should be a sell out Wycombe take note for next season
went today and i have to say it was a fantastic performance from england against a really poor romainian side. Wilfred Zaha looks a quality player, shelvey, stirling and henderson looked more like the players liverpool promise they will be and i was very impressed by clyne at right back bombing forward however... tonight has to be one of the worst atmospheres ive ever been at, even for a friendly. me and my group were met with strange looks for celebrating the goals and singing the national anthem!!! not to mention the fact that at least 1,000 (you may think im exaggerating, im not) turned up very late, missing kick off. the line for the kiosk at half time was attrocious and the whole staduim was filled with people who appear to have never been to a match before! heres hoping they were mroe turned on by what was on the pitch, as oppose to the atmosphere, huge ques, traffic jams and other problems off it
On a slightly different note I was pleasantly surprised to see the attendance was around 6,300 - on a cold night. This does show that there must be potential in the area to boost our attendances from the current slump... I guess the big question is how? Any ideas?
