Well Israel has been a full member of UEFA at both club and international levels since 1994, so why not? BTW, Israel was a founding member of the Asian Football Confederation in 1954 (and were Asian Champions) until being evicted by the Arab & Islamic states in the early 1970s.
couple of issues for me 1) if the rocket attacks are to be believed then safety of players (see the sri Lankan bus attack in Pakistan leading to a boycott of games there) 2) regardless of blame there is conflict there and if Africa was no good for sport during apartheid then how can this be right? one rule for one and all that

Not as such but the recent unrest in the Gaza open air prison was caused by an IDF incursion into the territory wherby a 14 y/o boy was shot dead as he played football. All standard stuff really
