At Staplewood. God knows if its open to the public. Probably a "bubble fixture" meaning the 5 Pompey fans wanting to watch it will be individually escorted to and from the ground in a taxi apiece and when at Staplewood, will be surrounded by 250 of Hampshire's finest boys (and girls) in blue. Just to be safe.
Can I say it? Bevis was a bit of a butthead, getting himself sent off like that. That's rather a good win for the Pompey lads, against this academy we've heard so much about. Well done chaps!
was you there? if you were, what did you think of our side? views on the game? would be interested to know oh before you get too cocky, this was missing many of our best players such as Shaw, Ward-Prowse, Stephens, Moore, McQueen and Chambers and a midfielder (Mugabi) playing CB
MUGABI!! Oh good this can't be good Even with some of your players missing, your academy team will still be better than ours. Maybe they bottled it like the senior players enjoy doing at Fratton. No seriously, I'm chuffed to bits that our wee un's beat yours, just goes to show how the whole academy has improved since Awford came in. Question - If we drew you in the FA youth cup at SM would you go to watch it if the match was open to fans? I know I would if it was at Fratton.
i would love to watch the youth, but they dont open to public and they wont be bottling it at fratton this year i can assure you ! and im not too sure about your first comment sorry? and the fact it was an own goal doesnt exactly set your team alight to be honest - you still cant score from your own players
While none of our players scored, bare in mind that we kept a clean sheet and we must have put your team under pressure to result in one of your players scoring an own goal. So the result is positive for our team, even if it was an own goal.
yeah stephens is injured, shaw is or has been away on intl duty - not sure about others, maybe more U21 side?
it was a long term injury and they wont rush someone back especially a youngster with bags of potential
