Read a few reviews of the game mate and they all seem to say the same thing that Henderson was ineffective, too quiet and went missing for large parts of the game. An extract from the BBC - 2048: Jordan Henderson gives the ball away on the edge of the Ukraine box and he's not covered himself in glory so far this evening. Central midfield again!
We've said the same thing for a large chunk of last season, he's not a central midfielder, but then again what do we know??
They were useless, generally, and I expect them to be dumped out next match. Sturridge is a bit dangerous, though. Henderson being played in CM is no excuse for his poor first touches and crap decision-making. Stuart Pearce has been getting away with it for too long. The team is tactically vacant but fit as butchers dogs!
I agree Henderson did not impose himself on the game and as i have said on numerous threads ffs go and pay £20m for Sturridge he played well and a better player than Wellbeck
