QPR’s development side were on the end of a 7-2 thrashing from Crystal Palace on Tuesday afternoon.

Mistakes by keeper Aaron Lennox and then Harly Wise led to Morgan Ferrier and Reise Allassani scoring early goals in the game at Tooting & Mitcham’s KNK Stadium.

Kyle de Silva made it 3-0 before the break, Ferrier netted again within a couple of minutes of the restart and then completed a hat-trick to make it five.

Reece Grego-Cox – a substitute for Rangers’ first team at the weekend – then scored a consolation goal for Steve Gallen’s side.

Palace responded with goals from De Silva and Jake Gray – again after a defensive mishap – before Osman Kakay scored for QPR in the final minute."

Bit of a blow. Clearly Steve Gallen has more work to do with our youngsters...

Shame, I saw the goals going in at regular intervals on the twitter-feed. We're a long way behind the top teams...

    In their League (PLD2 South, whatever that is) P 16 W7 D4 L5.

I'd take that for the first team.

No big deal. These kinds of results happen at development level at times.

Perhaps, but to achieve some sort of balance I would like to feel that the above scoreline in reverse will happen soon, but I'm not holding my breath on that one.
