Tyson fury retires with a beatifully worded statement on Twitter "Boxing is the saddest thing I ever took part in, all a pile of sh!t, I'm the greatest, & I'm also retired, so go suck a d!ck, happy days. please log in to view this image please log in to view this image please log in to view this image " This guy has used boxing, what is usually considered a proffesional sport, this guy a dunce no real talent no strinking attributes to seperate him from others (except perhaps his height) has come in, beak and elderly Klitchko and made millions of pounds, the shown how many fukcs he gives by retiring just like that. I dont think he will stick to the retirement, back late next year with a fight against AJ!
Tyson Fury is gone from boxing and i'm delighted. He has done nothing except bring the sport into disrepute. How a man can be so highly-rated after ONE good win over an ageing Klitschko is beyond me. If you watch that fight back now, it's a non-punch fest! Fury lurching about like someone who's lost his medication (or drugs if the many stories are to be believed) and Klitschko refusing to throw a right-hand. Let's just hope that Tyson Fury keeps his word and stays out of boxing forever. Good riddance.
He has tweeted saying he will come back and defend his belt now! The guy is nuts, I'm indifferent about him. In one sense I can see he has come from nothing to become the World Heavyweight champion, the manner of how he won it is questionable, but if it had been a clean cut well to do guy, the country as a whole would be celebrating it. Tyson complains he is not shown the respect he deserves, not asked to do media like AJ is, but it's his own fault, making jokes about cocaine, beating his wife, sexism and homophobic remarks do not make him a pin up or a role model. some people make these jokes with mates in the pub or their own homes maybe, but to openly say the things he has means he has brought it on himself. If he wants to be considered a champ, lose the tony montana twitter pic, get fit, shut the f up and fight
would rather rim Subo after a workout whilst wearing a rusty nail through my helmet and singing 'let it go'.... in a high pitched voice in the middle of the gallowgate......
Unfortunately boxing seems to need gobshites like fury to make it interesting to the masses. It's like WWE wrestling at times. I think Fury got lucky against Klitshko, knows it, has made enough to keep him and his family in caravans for life which enough for him, and he won't fight again so he can claim he was undefeated world champion. Even if he doesnt fight he'll not go away because the media will give him a platform to talk ****e because, like I say, they need twats to hype it up. My worthless 2 cents.
I really hope he returns. He's not an evil, horrible guy, he's a nice guy with some mental issues and a big mouth. He was an entertainer and he beat a man who hadn't been beaten in 11 years fair and square. There have been men bigger than him who have been beaten and not made much of their size, so you can't say it was just his height. He was only 2/3 inches taller than the former champion he beat, and Wladmir was used to fighting people smaller than him, so who cares about his height? He knows how to talk **** in the right way to get under his opponents skin, he is smarter than he makes himself out, and he's very quick for someone who's 6ft 9.
I dont think he's a horrible guy, but I dont think his clever either. I think he think his clever! when he tries to get under opponents skin and all that its awful viewing, so cringy!
The boxing and trash talking is one thing but when he gets onto serious issues it gets pretty repugnant.
All in all he is good for boxing. Boxing isn't about carefully managed professionals like AJ and Klitchko. It's about crazy people - - always has been. Mike Tyson, Chisora, Fury - - - all hard core crazies in the literal sense of the word. I even think there's a thoughtful, likeable person mixed up in the gusts of ****e that swirl round his head and come out of his mouth. Hope he harnesses his demons and continues to fart in the face of everything I approve of.
