I would love to see a tyre war in F1 and so does Paul Hembrey and Pirelli as he hinted on it on the F1 Forum. That is the main reason I wanted to discuss this do you think a tyre war would be good for F1? Maybe Ferrari: Bridgestone Red Bull: Pirelli McLaren: Michelin I think it would push the limits of tyre production So the FIA would have to closely check a lot of areas. The point I'm trying to make is if there was a tyre war F1 would be more exciting as the company and teams would have to work together to develop a inter, wet, super soft, soft , medium and hard tyre to work well with their car and we would see more racing action as overall downforce would be not that much important.
