Read this again and have to agree that the comment is correct. We've had 2 "spankings" but Saints and Newcastle are not top teams IMO.

Hats off to Liverpool, but how **** are Spurs? They've been tanked by 3 of the big boys now, twice by Man City having spent a ridiculous amount of money on a number of average players, only really Eriksen has shown anything out of the signings, has any team ever spunked that much money up the wall in one go on so much ****e at one time????? They'd have been miles better off with keeping Bale and not signing anyone last summer. Sherwood is on his arse now, Man U will finish 6th and take the last European spot, and laughably, Livermore and Huddlestone will both be playing Europa next year whilst not a single Spurs player will
