Why would you want your closest rivals to actually take any points. Surely gaining 3 points on them would be better? It's a bit sad when you when you're more bothered about the misfortunes of a team you hate taking precedence over others gaining points around you.
Yeah but it was really funny last time you got relegated to League One and I'd quite like to see it happen again. Fancy them to lose to Palace (heavily) but nick a 1-0 against Leicester.
Look at it this way, it's a bit like someone offering you the most fantastic slap up dinner for free; caviar canapes, lobster bisque, confit de canard with dauphinoise potatos and asparagus all washed down with a cheeky little claret...................but you have to eat shyte to get it!! No offence, like!
I hope the ****s lose both of them conceding 40 goals in the process, then I hope Colin gets ran over on the way home.
We don't want Leeds putting a run together against decent opposition, a couple of draws would be fine. Though in all likelihood, they'll get someone sent off and get tonked in both.
I guess 2 draws would be best; as mentioned above leeds getting relegated would be hilarious, but it's much more important we keep pace/make up ground at the top.
Why not? McCormack and Diouf (who they lose in january anyway) aside, their team is ****ing dire. Unless their takeover goes through by the transfer window which I doubt it will, they won't be anywhere near challenging the top 6. I'd much sooner them take full points and lower the goal differences of two teams very close and likely to be very close at the end. In fact I hope Leeds absolutely thrash both of them.
If they win those 2 games it is better for us. I dont care about them winning a couple and gaining some momentum as I dont think they will be top 6 anyway.
John has the answer spot on. IMO. The Wendies can also to us and themselves a favour on saturday by beating Nigels foxes. But i would suggest that until after the festive and new year games have been played the league table cannot be taken too seriously just yet.
The Wendies will lose, they've been **** and they've just lost their best player, so they'll be even more ****.
Aye but the champ does throw out odd results so that's what I'm hoping for, although yes on paper it looks like they'll get turned over. But as a wise old cliched man once said to me 'football is not played on paper'.
