Forget Pompey's fate being decided on the 10th. Today is the 2nd anniversary of the death of Markus Liebherr. Just 2 years ago. He passed away when we were lingering at the bottom of League One. We are now just 9 days away from our first Premier League appearance since 2005. Pretty darn remarkable. Thank You Markus.
Sgt Pepper was in his second year of teaching how the band to play. They'd been going in and out of style, but they were guaranteed to raise a smile. RIP Ol' Markus.
They say people remember where they were when they heard that Kennedy died, I remember clearly that I was loading the car with my son's luggage when I heard about ML. His effect on Southampton was massive and he will always be in Saints folklore. Will always remember the first game he came to with his big smile, red and white scarf and little camera. He was talked into it by Nicola, but he grew to love us. After he died, a statement was made that Saints was his constant preoccupation and he had instructed his executors to that effect. A loveable man, so sadly missed. Thanks. Markus.

I still remember how heartbroken I felt the pain just as though he was a key member of my family. Which he was!! R.I.P Markus.
R.I.P Markus. A Saints Legend. I will never forget the expression of joy on his face when we won the JPT. God knows what his face would have been like if he'd seen us promoted to the PL.
