    Last night I heard the two words I have been dreading in the World Cup
    "Andy Townsend "got to be the worst/boring football pundit ever. Roll on BBC

    The only thing worse would be a case of the 'David Pleat'

    I'm looking forward to some BBC coverage tonight to see the contrast. But why oh why is Cannavaro being given air time.. He's not gifted with a fluent knowledge of the English language, it's almost as bad as Adebayor 4 years ago as no one seems to know what he is saying and that is only magnified when Adrian Chiles is trying to run the show.

    Adrian chiles should be shot for his stupid comments on the protests... After the studio was pelted with stones: "it's not itv sport's fault"... before opting not to discuss anything about the implications and talk to his panel about the game instead. That's right, protests on the waste of money on stadiums and corporate greed has nothing to do with a commercial TV station from Britain or its multi-million pound salaried anchor <doh>

    I've got no issues with ITV, but at least show a bit of insight and awareness Chiles.

    I agree hamps the ignorance and arrogance shown was quite staggering
    To say sport and politics are not connected is naive to say the least but I guess nothing is allowed to stop the almighty buck

    Here's hoping for a shut-out at least for England tomorrow. Plenty of action in the six, maybe even a PK - wouldn't go amiss.

    If they have their shooting cleats on, should be a few shots on frame. <ok>

    Hopefully the Deeefense make many turnovers to the offense, we don't want to see a tied game.

    I doubt it, between the US and the Arab Emirates most of the good pundits have already been poached for big bucks.

    The only thing I will say for ITV is Clive Tyldsley. Top commentary. IMO.

    And in the yank vein for you SD I hope we don't need the 'hail Mary' in the closing seconds.
