The Clegg & Jewell circus will still be here in 2 weeks time still reeling out the same excuses and promises of better things to come! This is so bloody depressing having to wait for Jewell's inevitable sacking. Why can't Evans just a grow a pair and put the poor bastard out of his and ours misery now? Why wait until Christmas when it may be far too late by then! Two more weeks of fiddling around while our football club burns! **** the lot of them at least I'm not putting my hand in my pocket anymore until the idiot scouser departs.

Sorry for the rant but I have just gone beyond anger and now I'm totally bored with all things ITFC!

Hopefully Evans is waiting for a good manager to be given the sack and therefore we will have a replacement available. Personally I've always preferred to see Jewell succeed rather than disappoint and get the sack but I think we all agree on he isn't the man to take us forward, however sacking him without replacing him wisely will probably only achieve making things worse. I certainly don't take the 'Anyone will be better' approach and if Hutchings is in charge then I fear we will be even worse. This is a HUGE decision for the club and one that we shouldn't rush and I get the impression it is 'better the devil you know' right now, as things are bad with Jewell but they would be a lot worse with no-one/Hutchings in charge

I do agree with you KOPR, Evans needs to find a decent appointment and the worrying thing is that based on his track record of managerial appointments so far, we should all be worried!

Didn't ME say that if Ipswich wasn't in the top 10 by november? by my reckoning he can't obtain that target so he should go!

I dont think that quote was ever made officially. It was just a rumour put around on a couple of sites. You should know by now that ME never says anything to anyone other than his yearly Evening star Q&A

Well perhaps he should come out and make a statement to us long suffering supporters! That would be a big step in the right direction! <ok>

I just cant believe that no one from the club is coming out and telling us what the plan is! Absolutely disgusted by the lack of anything from ME. The Cobbolds will be spinning in their graves!

Warky, we had the same problem when the Doomcaster was our CEO. Trust me one day you'll laugh about all this, it's just a shame that the derby won't be taking place again next year with you in League 1 and us in the CCC <laugh>

Can't see us going down KIO. Jewell will be gone before chrimbo and if we are in the bottom three come january Evans will open his wallet and spend what is needed on players to keep us safe.........................................I hope.'
Will be good to have the derby back though.

International football really is boring though, in fact I think for the weekend I may follow a different sport instead and give myself a week off from Football

I dont think he will be gone. I think Evans has possibly realised that he made a massive mistake taking so much out of our wage bill and this is the reason why we have seen 4796573 players arrive on loan in the last week. The budget set out in the summer was stupid and unworkable. I think he will give him until Christmas now that we have got a decent size (not going to comment on quality) squad to work with.
Any Canary fans know what there wage bill was last season. Would be interesting to know what a sensible budget is at this level.

That might be the case TB but we don't have time to wait til Christmas! We are 4 points adrift and the month loans end after the game against Derby. This is one horrible bloody mess and a plague on all their houses! <ok>

Just as I am a long suffering Town supporter I am also a long suffering England supporter. I follow both through the good and the bad times so I can't do the same as you and just forget that there are international matches on. Man, it's tough being a true supporter sometimes instead of a glory hunter.

I can't help it mate, I wouldn't abandon Ipswich during dark times and always hope for better things, just as I do for England. If only the FA/England manager would change their selection policy and look at more players not at the top clubs.

Not at all, I'm proud to be English. I'm just waiting for the last of the old guard (Terry, Cole, Lamps, Gerrard et al) to hang up their international boots. I'm hoping the younger players are like many of you, fed up with the old England, and bring some passion back to the national team. It wouldn't make a difference if I was living in England though.
I don't understand how fans can stick with their club through times of mis-management and poor performances but won't do the same for the national team.

I must confess that my interest in the England team has completely vanished over the last few years. I couldn't give a toss what happens with them! The team is simply not good enough and the players we have our light years behind in technique. All we rely on is passion to beat johnny foreigner but alas other countries can more than match us with this now as well!
