Obertan wasn't awful in my opinion, he at least deserves more than a 4.

I thought Obertan did alright, was anonymous for a while but showed some decent touches and won a lot in the air.

I would have gave him a 5. He made some decent runs but that was about it. He didn't really have any end product and very rarely tracked back.

I thought he had a good game, nice touches and much better than expected in the air. He's a very quick outlet too at the moment while Jonas is covering Raylor.

    I love Shefqi.

    I'd give Obertan a 5.5. A 5 seems harsh and a 6 generous! Raylor a 4. Shola a 2. Tiote a 4.

Also, for the brief period Ba was on, he looked good to me. Some nice touches and certainly caused QPR some problems. Good signs coming from him

What would everyone's team be on Saturday?

    I'd go for...

    -----------------------Krul-----------------------

    Simpson--------Saylor------Coloccini-------Santon

    ---------------Cabaye-------Tiote----------------

    ----Jonas-----------Obertan---------Marveaux----

    ---------------------Best/Ba----------------------

Subs: Harper, Raylor, Gosling, Sameobi, Best/Ba, Guthrie and Shameobi

    This.

Also I can understand Shola being given a 5

    In fairness, it's his season's cummulative/running total.

    <whistle>

Obertan is a weird one, pretty much every game this season half of us think he did well or very good and half think he didn't do enough or was poor. I think he did pretty well yesterday, not his best game but most of our team were pants anyway.

I'd rather Obertan was on the wing because he doesn't seem to be that comfortable shooting, from what I've seen yet and he looked alright cutting inside..
We desperately need HBA back to fill that space though, there's not many players I can think of that would be good playing there except for Vuckic, but obviously he's out for a while.

Probably swap Jonas and Obertan from that lineup?

Thought Obertan was fairly sure, he has less end product that Jonas. Can't see many goals coming from the wings this season.

Obertan was poor. Didn't create anything, which is forgivable given the team performance, and was very lazy, didnt close down or track back even after losing the ball, which isn't forgivable.

Raylor should have been a 2 for me think he completed 1 pass and 1 tackle in the whole game, every thing else just went wrong...

Obertan played better then Cabaye for me over the whole duration of the game, and was a constant outlet for the defence but he never had much help when he received the ball..
