The videos of him shooting are harrowing... worse the videos of him stating who he was and what he was before the tragedy.
Aside from the horrific reality of a guy riding around a city centre randomly killing people there is a specific reason that Swedish nationals were targeted. The guy who has been deliberately enraging people under the excuse of freedom of speech has got exactly what he wanted which is criminal. Years ago on a tourist bus in Egypt they told all the British and Americans to pretend to be Swedes if terrorist's boarded the bus. Now one tiny group has made a whole country a target and the authorities do nothing. (Please delete if this is deemed political)
That reminds me of the night of the Heysel tragedy, I was in Milan and went to a bar with a customer to watch the game. On seeing what was happening on the TV, he whispered to me to say if anyone asks, you are American.
Think of everything brilliant you could ever think of Sweden and then ditch it... a close friend of mine moved there to be with his now wife (and ultimately children) 12 years ago. He tells me that it is now a cess pit of violence mainly surrounding immigrants..Stockholm T may have a different view.
I worked in Dusseldorf for two years, 10 years ago - anybody could walk around centre at night without any problem whatsoever - now it's too dangerous especially for women who are constantly being harassed and attacked - it's not going to get any better anytime soon
Try Poland. When I went to Szczecin, it was one of the nicest and safest cities I’ve ever been in. When you look up terror attacks in Poland on Wikipedia, the only two results are an incident from 1906 when a Polish revolutionary group attacked Tsarist government officials and an incident in 2016 when someone set off a mail bomb which injured one person but thankfully killed none.
Imagine the pages of comments if Trump had put up such a pathetic, rambling, mumbling performance as that. It was embarrassing.
Ye, parallel societies living side by side. Part of the problem is that the vice president should be picking up the slack, but her team has completely withdrawn her to avoid getting tainted by an embarrassment of a leadership. Feel sorry for the man, he's got some form of dementia and clearly can't cope, but whoever is backing him either won't let him or won't tell him to stand down. Seems to be children bearing the brunt of this renewed hostile war now. Bodes well for the future, extending and embedding hate.
... which is ridiculous. We (the public) are somehow expected to stay quiet on all sorts of media forums whilst utter madness continues
