Does any Norwich fan think it was harsh on Barton when he was given his red card?

Does any QPR fan think the decision to send off Barton was the correct one?

We all know that 99% of everybody's answer will be NO, so can we just move on and get on with the rest of the season.

All I've heard and seen is Barton this, Barton that - nobody has mentioned anything about the actual game and Pilkington's superb goal.

    <ok>

Actually I do think it was harsh, so maybe I'm the 1%, but I did laugh when it happened

personally i felt he made contact and you simply cannot aggressively put your head in. barton was the aggressor throughout and although it wasn't a 'headbutt', it was still worthy of a red card in this day and age. johnson's reaction was not right either, but it was still a red card. the only controversial thing about the incident is how the officials came to their decision, not whether or not it was the correct decision because by hook or by crook, they made the right call.

anyway, as the qpr fan above says, probably time to move on <ok>

And Cara you're right, the Barton incident has overshadowed a fantastic goal by Pilks which is a shame,

You're right this must be the only article about Barton on both our boards! Everyone has forgotten and I've just dragged it all up again.

ruddy's save from taarabts brilliant free kick deserves more credit. great football all round <ok>
also thought shaun derry played very well for qpr - good to see an old warhorse still able to cut it in the top division.

    Norwich did the business.

We played very well (especially with 10).

My ref mate looked at replays and said it shouldn't have been red because none of the officials saw it but had they done so he would have gone (despite there being no contact).

Now please can we move on - we've got an imminent cup humiliation at the hands of MK Dons to prepare for.

don't rate wright-phillips at all but he made a massive difference 2nd half. why was he on the bench??? everyone knows we are susceptible to pace yet warnock leaves him on the bench! poor decision.

I couldn't understand why they took Taarabt off after we went ahead.

taarabt didn't do much but then he is unpredictable - he could have produced some magic from a free kick or a mazy run against tired legs. as i keep saying, if qpr survive it'll be in spite of their manager, not because of him

Let's change is thread to a different question.

Who's going to get the bigger humiliation in the FA cup?

It's easy to be in the wrong, and get 3 points, and move on. We've lost 3 points therefore not that easy. If roles were reversed and Norwich had been down to ten men I wonder how quickly NCFC supporters would have moved on.
My wife's best friend has just bought a house in Norwich so I am hoping that it puts the hex on the football club.:wink:
