We are two points of the bottom three, very concerning from the great start we had.

Cannot see us getting anything at Bolton next.

Sky say lesta are well in control.

What a shame after a great start to the season.

I just hope I don't get egg on my face regards the pundits being right about relegation.

Fontaine fluffed a good chance to bring City level in the 71st minute and let Nugent in to score..

As for the Robins, they have now failed to win six of their last seven league outings.

Regrettably red I think many of us didn't really expect us to compete for the top this season and it's starting to look like the same old stuff. After the bright start we are now looking more like the teams of previous years who could not keep up with this level of competition.

It is becoming more obvious that we cannot maintain the standard required, with the budgetary restrictions we must live with, compared to the others in this division. Hopefully we will see action during the upcoming break prior to the game at Bolton to shore up our poor defence and move on in the right direction. Derek must be pulling out his hair because I still believe he has improved the team except in the area which we all know, and I don't think the answer is a single player but possibly a well oiled duo.

We shall see I suppose but I did think we would be in a slightly better place after our start and the positivity it created.

Our leader has had a mare again, apparantly had a very poor game.

What has he got to do to be dropped, the guy seems undroppable by Del boy.

Seriously we have 36 games still, we have no decent cover to drop Fontaine so we have to make do with an entire defence which are crap.

Three games on the trott,I would give Wilson the chance alongside Carey, this has to be the best way forward at the moment.

As for the Robins, they have now failed to win six of their last seven league outings.

We are bristol city, we ain't Man U we have are up's and downs but we always stay loyal. I belive Del Boy will get it right, we are a CH and a creative midfielder away from a half decent side.

Twin CHs and a replacement for Cisse, who to be honest made us look better than we were

A fans view from today's game - summoning up it seems we are back to last years standard.

Sang by Leicester fans towards the end f the game and summed us up perfectly - except it's believeable.

We didn't create one clear cut chance today, summed up by Davies having a shot from the half way line.

No fight, no passion and mcinnes got the tactics all wrong. 4-5-1 with Taylor on the right hand side of midfield? Hahaha joke. Play to our strengths not theirs!

Everyone knows about our defensive woes and how awful we've been.So why is fontaine starting every game? Needs kick up the ass along with Pearson and half the squad.

Bring on all the abuse I'll get from all the supporters who didn't go. Playing for a point away from home is simply not good enough!

Players get paid to travel to places like Leicester, i have to pay to go to places like Leicester and watch heartless toosh like that............
we sat deep like we were defending a lead we did not have and when we did go forward we were either out muscled or had no idea what to do next..................
Fontaine once again, cementing his place in the dugout rather than not leading s***e, ( give it to Heaton )
Alberts only human looks tired cannot compensate our weaknesses with his brilliance, well not on his own anyway....................
I could go on but will leave on this positive note, thumbs up Foster, well done loyal supporters ol and Del's not prepared to be pressurised to go and panick buy......................

I know it's frustrating but we are not that bad, even with our problems, give the City a chance,we have got a proper man in charge, let's believe,I do.....

Report from a fan who lives in the midlands and his first city game

Due to being a student therefore skint and living up in the Midlands, I havent watched us this season until i went today with a Leicester supporting mate. Here are my opinions on the game.

Although I feel we didnt play anywere near acceptable today, I think leicester were a complete different class to us and beat us all over the pitch and with exception to Adomah, I dont feel one of our team could get into that current Leicester side. They throughly dominated us throughout and were worthy winners of the 3 points, as much as it pains me to say it. I feel there is only 2 real positives we can take from the game and that is that Adomah looked sharp and was willing to run at his man all day long. The 2nd positive being the performance of Jody Morris who i thought battled hard in our midfield and didnt stop running all game. I even enjoyed the little kick he got on their man with the fancy flicks just before he was subbed off as it shown a nasty streak our side is missing.

Heaton - 7 - Done what was asked of him well and had no chance for either goal, also feel he demands his goal extremley well and is a decent vocal presence throughout the team.
Carey - 4 - Ok 4 may be harsh but as much as I love Louis, he is well past it and that shown today. Dyer had the beating of him all game and everytime they attacked down his side they looked dangerous.
Fontaine - 5 - Looked very dodgey and void of all confidence, Should of done alot better for the first goal as Nugent isnt the quickest but he shown Fontaine a clean pair of heels.
Nyantaga - 6- I am not Nyantaga's biggest fan to say the least but today i thought he looked the best defender we had on the pitch, he won all his headers and got some vital blocks in.
Foster - 6 - Cant really fault him for the own goal as the pressure from Nugent was intense. Defensively he shown what many say on here and his positional sense is totally non exisistant. However going forward he looked dangerous and made up for Pearson going missing on the left flank.
Albert - 7 - Best of the bunch for me, had the be beating of his fullback all game and his full back (liam Moore) is highly rated up there and is being linked to Man Utd so that just shows how well Albert done today.
Skuse - 5 - In my opinion didnt look fully fit as it wasnt really the skuse performance I have seen in the past. However he had some nice touches and does outshine our other centre midfielders.
Morris - 6 - Felt Morris had a strong presence on the pitch and you can see he is a natural leader and he was telling others what to do all game what I was really pleased to see. I also feel Morris gives us that nasty streak were currently missing as he had a few kicks on their lads throughout the game.
Pearson - 4 - Absolutley non exisistant all game, Gave us absolute no width on the left and in my opinion dosent merit a starting birth at all, as there are others in the squad what offer more than him.
Baldock - 5 - Didnt really have a chance to be honest with our defenders hoofing long balls up for him to compete against Morgan, there is only one real winner out of those two. Worked hard but it just wasnt his day.
Taylor - 6 - Same story as Baldock really, worked hard but to no real effect and didnt real have a chance against a very strong Leicester defence.

On twatter some were suggesting that Del should leave.

If that happened now I think we would be ****ed. I believe in him, today he made a mistake but I'm sure he knows that now.

We I believe will turn this slump around and with Del at the helm and take us far <ok>

I do question his tactics and team selection, remember we have not one in seven games.
We have not sorted the defence knowing the fault has been there for months.

A lot of people questioned Fergies mentality when he bought Ralf Milne. And they were correct just because we can see his mistakes didnt make him a bad manager.

Remember one thing we got to the play offs on a team playing with confidence apart from that we were ordinary. We are not a power house or a fallen giant we are Bristol City teams don't fear us but with Del we can see a team forming we have already seen that, defence is in a bit of mess but who have we really got at the moment to cover Carey today showed the legs are not there. We are better but just at the moment we are in a slump. When Hull got to the play offs they came from no where same as Blackpool. The season is over 9 months not 2. We will get there we all make bad decisions today was Del's

Trouble is ROD, he is going with the same each week, and each week the same faults are occurring,he does acknowledge it in his comments but does nothing to rectify it.

He is the manager and it is his decision, but why do many fans see the faults week in week out yet he does not change it.
People pay good money to watch football and travel all around the country To watch their team and have every right to question things they see as wrong.

I appreciate he does no want to make the wrong decision regards signings but how long does it take to get players in.especially when the problem has been a problem for over two months.
