    Basically confirmed by Wes Burns' Dad over on OTIB. Both players pulled out of their subsequent deals due to SC's sacking. Also confirmed that Cotts said goodbye to the players today and there were lots of tears all round :(. We could have been in such a better position with a couple of new players and still with our manager, not that we will ever know.

    So the comment about we aren't anywhere close to signing anyone anytime soon comment was subterfuge then...?

    I am not having a pop at you but I find it hard to believe. Is Wes Burn's dad involved in our transfer dealings...?

    Frankly, if this information is true, he has made things EXTREMELY awkward for young Wes so either:-

    a). its not true or
    b). they can't have been much cop...

    It's still just a rumour although I wouldn't contest it, just told it's a rumour that's got legs..
