.....played at the Brid Town game last night.

Alex Cooper - Recently released by Liverpool, he was signed from Ross County as a 16 year old in 2007, for £100k. He was listed as a winger there, but some Liverpool sites list him as a central midfielder.

Rob Peet - Goalkeeper who came through the Grimsby academy(do Grimsby have an academy?) and had a trial at Man United last month.

Anyone go along to see them in action?

Alex Cooper's been training with them for a couple of weeks I believe, I posted an article about it a while ago so i suppose a decision will be made on him sooner rather than later. With regard to the keeper how old is he? Is Oxley injured atm as Cracknell was on the bench against Macclesfield? Seems to me Oxley should be going out on loan.

    Where is Oxley?
Is he injured or lined up for a loan move?

The keeper is obviously one for the future. If he doesn't cost much and has really good potential then why not have him at the club for a few seasons to see how he progresses. We can probably do that for far less than 1 week of Bullard's wages!

Because he scored twice against the mighty Faroe Islands? He's can play but lazy as hell and massively inconsistent. He can't get a start at Celtic.

Imagine our strikers playing at Faroe Islands home "arena". They would run out of balls :(

Is that why the Faroe Islands don't have a rugby team?

That's where my family are originally from, it's a beautiful place. The national team are getting better (they are now ranked above Wales) thanks to the addition of a few more full time players. In fact, they have a very good chance of not finishing bottom for the first time ever! (A pretty big deal!) Just a shame the national league (The Vodafonedeildin for sponsor reasons) is poor, but I suppose given the pool of players they can pick from, it isn't surprising.

Yeah Svanaskard stadium is a weird one, they have a boat at the back after the game to re claim the balls. They obviously got tired of retrieving them, so they moved to Torsvollur, which is in the capital.
