Joe Mason http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joe_Mason Aron Gunnarsson http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aron_Gunnarsson
Seems to be another good prospect. He extended his contract with Argyle until 2012, but I doubt they'd prevent him stepping up. Could be a good investment, but only 5' 10". He seems to know how to find these players doesn't he?
Getting a little worried about who he is signing. Conway is the pick of them. Will have to see, but I don't think it has been too inspired so far. The rest seem more like players to give the squad depth, not exceptional talents. I hope they all prove me wrong
I'm with you Siam, can't say I'm inspired and still have a niggling doubt in the back of my mind. Still he's the man in the seat and will get my full support. I've said I'd rethink my expectations once the team is known, at the moment I still see a top ten finish but nothing more.
Sorry Siam & Taffthe fish, I have to disagree, every signing so far either looks to me full of promise or like Earnie a seasoned professional and I think that Malky will know the types of players he wants. I've got some concerns about Goodwillie because of non-football things. Two weeks ago things were looking grim but no longer. It may take some time to gel but IMO things are looking good.
Aren't you forgetting Adam and Duncan Jones? Put them in with Parkin and you've got a hell of a line up. Oh wait, This is the Cardiff FC forum. Sorry.

"Cardiff City chief executive Gethin Jenkins agreed the transfer with Plymouth owner Peter Ridsdale yesterday." I really liked that bit.
Malky has bolstered the squad (and will continue to do so) with a blend of youth, experience and potential. He is not doing this for a quick win (don't expect us to be heading the division come mid-September) but once the new guys settle in and Malky imposes the style of play he wants I think we will shift into a higher gear in the autumn and start pushing up, ready for a concerted drive in the new year. Maybe he doesn't want a really big guy up front but prefers to rely on mobility, movement and skill - no arguments with that - and if Goodwillie comes in to give us 4 front line strikers then that is how he will play with Parkin giving the target man option as plan B if needed. Even if Gunnarsson signs I still think we need a tough tackling central midfielder to complete the picture.

Thanks Rhondda but I'll pass on this one. I sat through one of those when Malky joined and it's hard work wading through all the crap I imagine it'll be on the CCFC Player later.
