He came upon an August day
Two years and some ago,
And completely changed our playing way
And by jove it began to show,
Peace then slowly began to reign
Where strife had been before,
As we could see with each passing game
Here we had our new saviour

And with him came two other men
Both with a part to play,
And no more was left to chance again
Order was the name of the day,
And soon the fruits of their good work
Were there for all to see,
No place for any who would shirk
Room for workers only there´d be

In two short years his name was known
`mongst fans both far and wide,
And our club had once again just grown
Into one with both heart and pride,
No more grey weeks and months on end
Those days were truly gone,
The Lambert years had helped turn the bend
And the road ahead, we were on

Now here we sit proudly in the top
Division of our land,
And all of us hope that it won´t stop
Very much as we all had planned,
And can we hang on to our man
For many years to come,
I´m sure he´ll do just all that he can
And continue what he has done.

An album sounds good to me, just as long as no-one expects me to sing, singing was never quite my forte. and have a good Christmas yourself Dave.
