It seems silly to use up your whole years 'quota' in a single week !!
What's he gonna do til May now ??

On a serious note.... His confidence must be sky high which can only (hopefully) benefit us :emoticon-0148-yes:

Not sure why people think this is a bad thing. F he scores 15 gals and we stay up because of that then what's the big deal? @grandpops is cynical about it too but, much like a loan signing, he undoing what he has to in order to earn a new contract and that can only be good for safc. He's a feebie in the close season so go for it. I always knew there was a capable player. Application has always been the issue. Looked sharp all week. Good for safc

It's not a bad thing Marcus. It's just timing. Whether that's good or bad depends on where you set the cynicism bar

If only we were playing Shildon A.F.C. at the weekend.

Hopefully it's given him some confidence though, imagine if he couldn't shine against an none ranked international opponent.

Defoe gets a hat-trick against Exeter and we say "I should think so", Fletcher does the same against lowly opposition and gets this.

Gibraltor are shyte but it must still be good for a strikers confidence to hit the net in a competetive match.

The thought of giving Fletcher a new contract is preposterous for me like. He's had his big move with a long lucrative contract and he hasn't really cut it. Pastures new for me.

I think Exeter would turn Gibraltar over.

I`ve no objection to him getting a new contract Marcus. None at all if he`s earned it. I just think if it`s longer than say 2 years, he`ll go back to being the lazy twat he`s been for the last two.

    Simple as that really.
