    Henry Cooper, how very sad, I am typing this after only finding out from this thread.
    What a great, great sportsman and proper gent he was. A true legend of boxing, I'm so sad. RIP Henry.

    I knew about Ted Lowe, but how sad to pass on the first day of the World final of the sport he did so much for. RIP Ted


    Bin Laden can go to hell.

    How can ANYONE know that??

    ...both famous for punchin' the livin' daylights out of others, but then, I didn't REALLY know either of them overwell!!

    Saw Henry in the 'Thomas a Becket' on many occasions. (Old Kent Road) Boxing pub with long history. He nearly always had lots of time for a chat.
