Hi all. Thanks to those of you who welcomed me to the board after I joined in the thread that was all about me. Here's another one. Although it's not REALLY all about me. I've got two important events coming up, both indirectly to your benefit, and slightly to mine. 1)- Following the Spurs game, might I tempt you away from your usual choices of post-match venues and towards Ginglik instead? Ginglik is the underground live music venue beneath Shepherds Bush Green - easy enough to find, head to the Green and look for steps going downwards with the name Ginglik on. My band Platonic Curry are playing live there that evening, doors will be open before full time and you can head straight there and see us and a few other great live acts performing as well as a late DJ set. Should be a fantastic night and I'd love to see a big crowd of Rs there so I can give a performance guaranteed not to be ruined by idiotic officiating. 2)- I'm going to be jumping out of a plane for Cancer. Yes, really. Back in February I was the lone QPR representative on 10-year-old West Ham fan Jonjo Heuerman's walk from Wembley to Upton Park to raise money for the Bobby Moore fund for Cancer Research. 25 miles over 3 days all for a fantastic cause, in the name of Bobby Moore and Jonjo's grandmother, both of whom were victims of Bowel Cancer. So following the success of the walk, Jonjo and his family have decided to do a parachute jump and I've decided again to join him. I'll need a lot of luck, and a lot of support in the way of generous donations as I need to raise a minimum amount before the jump can go ahead. If you do have the means and the good will to help me out, there's a link here: http://goo.gl/pjenz Hope to see you after the Spurs game at Ginglik, and thank you very much for your support!
