Watched the 60 minute games this afternoon against Osnabruck and St Pauli sides. City won them both easily and looked in far better shape as a team than I remember them last year. Very early doors but I liked what I saw of the players and Trollope and Co on the sidelines. So much so I've just stuck £20 on City finishing top 6 @ 4/1 and another ill octopus on them finishing in the top 2 @ 16/1. Why not eh?
Watched them too and the change from 5 at the back to 4 is what did us for the goal, we looked impressive in both games really looking forward to the coming season, can see your bets coming in Sparks
Just a couple of thoughts though. Kennedy looked overweight (that's a polite way of saying fat) and Zahore looked very slow. On the other hand Gounongbe could well be a potential match winner and could make the difference this season.
I think 4 at the back will be plan B. Nice to have one of those. DJ, MM and Slade didn't have one. Ole didn't have a plan A. A step in the right direction.
