We hope so mate, they've got a very tough run in and if they get out of this with a good amount of points then they could certainly win the title
If we can beat Norwich who after today sit comfortably in midtable with no immediate danger of relegation then we will be 3 points away from them and 5 points off for United. I feel a lot more confident when we play away and am sure with Sturridge and Essien back we can feel confident of a win there. But let's not suffer from the same small club mentality as they do and base our entire season on finishing above them as we are better than that. I would honestly take early Euro elimination if it means we can concentrate on the FA Cup and League, this year we simply don't have the squad to fight on all fronts and our league form may suffer as a result. If Wigan were to pull of a shock win/draw vs City and we could win every game in January and Feb (bar one maybe) I wouldn't even rule us out of the title yet. Catching City is unrealistic at the moment but if we can go on a run (which is possible looking at our fixtures) there is no reason why 2nd or 3rd is beyond us. Win at Norwich and we are 3 points off 3rd with the Spuds still having to play City, US, Arsenal and Liverpool away. Good times
Football is all about if and buts. If it wasn't every United fan would have given up on the title now, if they haven't sensibly done so already
