Correct me if I am wrong but the last time we lost two in a row was back in January, both away games at Wolves and Brentford. Both those clubs were promoted............. does that mean Preston and Swindle....... no!

Nah. We'll be ok. We need to refocus and remember what we were doing well.

More concerning is 2 games without scoring.. Agard doesn't offer much if he's not scoring and Wilbs miss was shocking, I hope it doesn't become an issue.

WILBS WAS ALMOST REGRETTING THE MISS BEFORE HE HIT THE FLOOR,

I think they were all trying not to get beat, and everytime they had a chance it was in their mind the injustice of Swindles and we must win this one instead of being relaxed about it

The next one against Posh is a critical match in that we can't afford to make it 3 losses on the trot. Saying that we should have one the last 2 games is only relevant if we fall at the next hurdle and we have to trust in SC to right the ship with his team selection and the preparation that precedes a difficult away match. Both Swindon and PNE were on losing streaks before playing us and let's hope we can change our fortunes next Saturday.

Really Mike? Critical? Its November ok almost December but still there's a long way to go this season, whereas another defeat would be disappointing it could very well happen but it would not mean end of our season! We would still be in the top 3 (at least) and have a chance to regroup during the two cup games with Wade then back for the next league game. The Sky wouldn't fall in:wink:

So people let's not start talking doom and gloom yet.

    Calm down everyone.

We've lost 2 league games since April.

In SC we have a manager who saved us from almost certain relegation last year and who has put us top of the league this year.

If we lose the next 6 games on the bounce as well then I'll be concerned, but not right now.

From the start, I said that we should be judged on how we react after we lose. Even during our winning streak, the true test of character would be what we'd do when things don't go our way.

I'm not convinced that we'll walk this league. I think we will hit the playoffs, but we're on a slippery slope that we need to get around. This is where Cotterill will be judged.

To be honest I'm a bit worried, Tranmere went down with 47 pts last season, I'm not sure where we are going to get a further 12 pts from <whistle>

My using the word "critical" has been taken totally out of the context that was meant. I agree the season is early and the need for concern is only that a 3 game losing streak plays games with the mind although I believe both Swindon and PNE overcame that scenario to beat us.

Apologies to all who thought I was hitting the panic button because I was not and still believe we have an excellent shot at promotion, and hopefully after I leave for my usual winter in Fuerteventura the results will return to normal and I can't remember thinking that way last season. Took a lot of stick in Caleta for being a Bristol City supporter but this year I can hold my head high! So there.

Its always a bummer when a winning streak ends.

I was in Munich last week and missed the PNE defeat

    Enjoy the Canaries Mike !
